Obituary of Doreen Bessant

Bessant, Doreen (nee Daigneault) - Passed away peacefully, in Markham, Ontario, on Saturday, January 19th, in her 89th year. Formerly of Lennoxville, Quebec. Beloved wife of the late Bill Bessant. Loving mother of Sonny (Ruth), granny of Ken (Carol) and Christina (Steve Cameron) and great-granny of Sydney and Sofia. She will be dearly missed by her brother Glen (Yvette). Predeceased by her siblings: Dora, George, Forrest, Wesley and Laura. Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses, caregivers and staff at the Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence for their loving care over the last five years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Hwy. 7, Markham, on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11 a.m., with refreshments to follow. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society in her memory.
