Obituary of Roland Evelyn

Evelyn, Roland John (Roly) Peacefully at home with his wife by his side after a brave battle with cancer on January 10th, 2016. Beloved husband of Jean for 32 years. Survived by his siblings Jacqueline (Robert), Jay (Kathy). Lovingly remembered by Eleanor (Jim), Elaine, Marylyn (Brian), Heather, cousin Brenda, Mary Lou, Fred and special friends Janet, Andrew, Angie, Mike, Karen, Al, Marlene and numerous family and friends. Uncle to John (April), Susan (Jon), Lynn, Jamie (Steph), James (Julie), Richard, Edward, Chris, Jacob and Karie. Great Uncle to Jacob, Corinne, Celine, Clarice, Caleb, Jenna, Ella and Ramsey. Predeceased by brother Sean, brother-in-law Don, nieces Kelly and Shannon, Aunt Madeline and Uncle Ed. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Sunday, January 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday at St. Patrick's Parish 5633 Highway 7, Markham at 10am. Reception to follow.
