Obituary of John Amos

Amos, John Morris WWII Veteran and CPR Steam Locomotive Engineer. Peacefully after a brief illness at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 in his 92nd year. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Margaret (2005). Loving and devoted father of Elizabeth "Betty" Jean, Jonathan and his wife Trisha, Aynn, William "Billy" and his wife Anna. Cherished Grandfather (Grandpaw) of Brittany, Emily and Xander. Proud family member of the Markham Missionary Church. Former resident of Parkview Village. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Thursday, December 6th from 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 7th at 1pm in the chapel at Dixon-Garland. Followed by burial at Dickson Hill Cemetery.
