Obituary of Robert Baird

Robert (Bob) Baird passed away peacefully in early October. Born in South Wales, Bob emigrated from the UK with his family. Bob worked as a Chemical Engineer for his entire career. An avid hiker and camper, Bob and his family enjoyed their time outdoors. Bob was a dedicated community volunteer, serving as the Chair of the Board of Participation House, held numerous roles with Grace Anglican Church and had a lifelong connection to the Boy Scout movement. Upon his retirement, Bob pursued his interest in Organ music and stamp collecting. Bob maintained a commitment to higher learning and was often found enjoying a new book.  He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services to be held at Grace Anglican Church in Markham on Friday, October 11^th, 2024, at 2pm. At his request, no flowers.
