MURRAY, RONALD JAMES Passed away peacefully, in his 83rd year, with his wife, Gaye, by his side, on October 26, 2022, at Markham Stouffville Hospital. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Gaye; step-daughter, Trish Baird (John); grandchildren, Jaden and Jaxon (who will miss their Gumpy); brother, Norman (Chris); and his many nieces and nephews across Canada; his best friend, Norm Salo (Bonnie); and goddaughters, Sherri-Lee and Terri-Lynn; and many friends, neighbours and the Swan Lake community.

Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on November 5, 1939. Ron lived in many places and had various jobs across Canada. He spent most of his time in Ontario, where he owned two fire protection businesses, including Beeline Fire Protection, which he retired from in 2010. Ron was a fun-loving, kind and caring person who will always be remembered for his great wit, sense of humour and comical stories. He loved making people laugh and loved his retirement life at Swan Lake Village in Markham, Ontario, where he mostly enjoyed playing snooker, entertaining friends and family and living life with his lovely wife, Gaye. Ron's wishes were not to have a funeral or memorial service.
