Bill was past his prime when I joined the Kids and Kubs in 2004, but he was still amazingly active as a coach or umpire. He was very kind to me and I considered it an honor to call him my friend. My world was a much better place with Bill in it.

I am really sad and sorry about Great Uncle Bill, who was my grandma Avon's brother-in-law. I met him many times over the years. My sister and I have really fond memories of hanging out with him and Pat in Florida in the 80s. In all those interactions, I always thought what a nice man he was. My condolences to your whole family.
